More than 100,000 households join the "I Change My Heating System and Water Heater" Program.
The Ministry of Environment and Energy activates vouchers and strengthens the green transition with a social dimension
The Ministry of Environment and Energy is today publishing the 1st final list of approved applications for the "I Change My Heating System and Water Heater" Program, with more than 100,000 citizens from all over the country joining the action. Of the new beneficiaries, over 5,000 come from vulnerable social groups, demonstrating the substantial social nature of the program.
This program, with a total budget of 647,167,031 euros (including VAT) and an increased subsidy rate for vulnerable households, substantially promotes the energy upgrading of homes and contributes to the reduction of energy costs for households, encouraging the replacement of old heating systems and the installation of new technology solar water heaters.
This initiative is a practical demonstration of the commitment of the Ministry of Environment and Energy to green development with a social dimension, ensuring access to clean and efficient heating and hot water solutions for everyone — from urban centers to the most remote areas of the country.
The Ministry invites beneficiaries to check the status of their application through the platform and to select the approved supplier and the equipment that meets their needs through the official Supplier and Equipment Registers, which are available on the Program's digital platform https://allazosistimathermansis-thermosifona.gov.gr/go-beyond/
